Basic Requirements for Using E-Banking Services

My app isn’t working / I get an error when logging in to my mBanking app or Web Banking account.

Please delete the application, reinstall it, and contact the Bank to receive new activation codes for the mBanking app.

Note: Activation codes are valid until the end of the day from the date of receipt.

I am having problems with online payments / I get an error when preparing a payment in E-Banking.

Please check the details you entered (account number, recipient name, IBAN and SWIFT code for international payments, availability of funds on your transaction account for execution of the payment), as well as the payment instructions you received when activating the service. I am having issues with online payments using my Universal Capital Bank payment card.

To confirm online payments with Universal Capital Bank payment cards, you need to have the mBanking app installed and activated on your mobile phone. When initiating an online payment with your card, you will receive a Push notification on the mobile device where the mBanking app is installed. You must verify the initiated payment by entering your PIN or using biometric authentication.

At the end of the process, if you are making a web payment via mobile and switching between several cards, once you have completed the authentication in the mBanking app, you need to return to the app or web page where the payment is being processed to finalise the authentication process.

What is the difference between the E-banking services you offer?

For legal entities (companies), the Bank offers three services: Office Banking, Web Banking, and mBanking (Mobile Banking).

Office Banking is a multi-banking desktop application that consolidates all accounts of a company opened with banks in Montenegro that provide this service. It is accessed with a digital certificate valid for 2 years, which is renewed regularly upon expiry. Web Banking provides access to accounts opened with Universal Capital Bank via a web application available on the Bank’s website. Access is enabled with a username and the mBanking app. Users can view all corporate accounts they are authorised for within Universal Capital Bank, as well as their personal transaction accounts within the same profile. mBanking offers the same functionalities as Web Banking, but through a mobile application designed to provide simplicity, convenience, and accessibility to Universal Capital Bank services at your fingertips.

For individuals, the Bank offers Web Banking and mBanking under the same conditions.

For both legal entities and individuals, the Bank also provides an SMS notification service (incoming/outgoing payments) for transactions executed on transaction accounts opened with Universal Capital Bank.

What is Web Banking?

Web banking is an internet banking service that enables the use of payment services, access to products and services Users have with the Bank, as well as other information related to the Bank's services through a web application.

What is mBanking?

mBanking is an electronic banking service (application) designed to work with mobile devices, enabling the use of payment services, access to products and services Users have with the Bank, as well as other information related to the Bank's services.

The mBanking application allows you to manage your finances using Android and iOS devices from any location at any time.

What is an OTP code?

An OTP code is a code (6-digit number) that a User of electronic banking payment services receives via communication channels. It is time-limited, lasting 24 hours during installation and 30 seconds during activation, after which it becomes invalid.

What is the difference between Web Banking and mBanking?

Web banking and mBanking offer you almost identical functionalities. Web banking is primarily intended for use on desktop or laptop computers as it is an application based on a web service, while mBanking is an application intended for smart mobile phones, providing you the comfort to manage finances even when on the move.

What should I do if I forget my e-banking password?

If you forget your password, contact the Bank at the email address ebanking@ucbank.me.

How can I settle my credit card obligations through electronic banking?

It is sufficient to fill out a standard order via Web Banking or mBanking services, or by depositing funds to the credit card directly at the branch.

Can I change my contact information through electronic banking applications?

No. You can change them by visiting a branch or notifying a banker via official email, after which he will contact you.
